I also have it set up to allow me to send e-mail using SMTP (using OAUTH2), however my employer’s sysadmin says that he has disabled SMTP because he can not see how it can be enabled only. Following your post and looking up other resources, I have set up an application that is able to allow me to get IMAP access (using OAUTH2) from Office 365.
